There are benefits to this kind of work; you are never bored. But you definitely are never completely prepared for a case. Biological investigators are pretty much special agents that specialize in criminal incidents that involve biology. When someone breeds a man-eating hybrid or creates a pathogen to hold a city hostage, we are the ones called out. Using our knowledge of biology, we must find solutions to whatever situations arise. Alchemists"No alchemy in public!" yelled my teacher as we walked side by side down the sidewalk. I instantly retracted my hands into my pockets; my teacher's words were absolute. I had picked up a penny and considered transmuting it into gold but he had caught me about to use alchemy. One of the first rules about alchemists in training is they could not use alchemy in public, lest a normal human saw them doing it.
